Penn State Abington offers two honors programs for especially successful students who seek to enrich their academic experience. The Abington Honors Program and the university’s Schreyer Honors College provide students with opportunities to take special honors courses, pursue research and creative projects, participate in honors-related extracurricular activities, and be part of a community of active, engaged scholars.
April 2024, twenty honors students visited Philadelphia's historic Academy of Music to see the Broadway musical Hadestown.
